I love the tea trea scent, lathers up really good and rinses off easy. The rinse off suds fast is my favorite part.

If I could do less than one I would. This needs to have a warning for cats. Cats/kittens SHOULD NOT HAVE TEA TREE OIL $590 later and thank god my Devon Rex is alive. Shame on you.
The only product I buy for my dog. My girl has allergy issues which causes itchy skin and hair loss. We tried the hypoallergenic shampoo but it left her skin worse then when we started. After the hot spot shampoo, we haven't turned back. It smells great, limited ingredients and my dog seems to feel a lot better after it. I've gotten friends to start using this shampoo as well.
Love this shampoo! I've used it several times on one of my Standard Poodles that has recurring Pyoderma. This shampoo lathers up beautifully, doesn't irritate my dry hands at all, and rinses out in a hurry as well, saving water and time. My Poodle's coat dries quickly with a high velocity dryer, and is so easy to brush and comb out afterwards. A definite improvement over other shampoos I have tried on him in the past. I'm off to buy a gallon of this wonderful shampoo! I'm going to use it on my other 2 Standards, maybe try another scent for a change. Great product!
I purchased this shampoo for my 80 lb. Doberman with chronic skin allergies. We've tried many other shampoos, sprays and oils. This is the only product we've used that I saw instant results! She is scratching a lot less. Her fur is soft and shiny. And her skin is less irritated. I am positive that within a few weeks her hair will begin to grow back. Thanks!
My dog has dealt with dry, flaky, and itchy skin since I picked him up at 6 weeks. I use this shampoo with the Vanilla & Almond Spritz and this is the first time in the past 4 years of having him that his skin isn't inflamed. He usually has random sores all over and will bite and itch himself 24/7 but since using these products, it's changed everything! Also happy that the shampoo only has to sit on him for 90 seconds. A tea tree oil shampoo that I used previously wanted it to sit on my dog for 5-10 minutes which he did NOT enjoy. So happy that I found this brand.
Thiss shampoo got into my dogs eyes by accident!! Both of his corneas are burnt with ulcers from bring so completely dried out!! I am appalled because the bottle should truly have better warnings on the bottle! I was not the one bathing my dog, but this product was purchased because we be,ieved your products to be SAFE & Holistic, we falsely assumed we were taking better care if him by not using traditional dog shampoo chemicals. He is now on two eye drops three times a day, and pain Meds, and has a cone on his head!! He whimpers from the pain... Our Veternarisn said that Tea Tree Oil can indeed dry their eyes out quickly...this us why the rinsing out with water dud him NO GOOD! Maybe you should change your label! Suggesting, only to be used on Hot Spots them selves, and to go straight to the Vet if thus product gets in their eyes, Cuz your advice FAILED MY DOG! Please don't come back commenting that in small print you advise about precautions on the face, because that precaution was being used, my dog shook while being bathed and that is how it got into his eyes...and we did as you suggested and rinsed his eyes out with water! I am just suggested better warnings...My dog is suffering.
I've been using this tea tree shampoo on my sheltie now for almost two years. When I got him he had problems with dry skin. That's why I searched for a shampoo I hoped would help with his skin sensitivities. I use both the tea tree shampoo and the oatmeal and aloe conditioner on him for his monthly baths. His skin issues cleared up and have remained under control. We did change his diet too which could have helped, but I know for him the shampoo and conditioner didn't hurt. I like how he smells during and after his bath. Afterwards his coat is soft and so nice to touch!
I have been using this product on my dog for over a year. Whenever he gets dry or itchy I bathe him and he immediately stops scratching and his skin seems to feel better for weeks. I have had a dry scalp most of my life and found most shampoos dont help. I tried my dogs earthbath and I loved how it seemed to moisturize my scalp and not dry out my hair. Is there any reason I shouldn't use this shampoo on my own hair? Thanks!
Used this shampoo on my previous dog who had super sensitive and itchy skin and just started it on my new puppy who had some bug bites. Works so well. So much better than the medicated shampoos I've used in the past. I love the way it smells and my puppy is so soft after I bathe her with this. She felt so much better and her itching improved about 90%. She can go on walks now without stopping to itch and can sleep more soundly. I'm not sure why people say tea tree oil is toxic to dogs. Maybe if they eat it? I don't know, but both of my dogs used this and they didn't have any weird reaction. Maybe tea tree oil to dogs is like peanut allergies to humans. Some aren't allergic at all and some are extremely. I don't think it's fair that other reviewers warn people not to use it because their dog was allergic. That doesn't mean my dog will be allergic. Anyways, this will be my shampoo for my puppy going forward.
YOU PEOPLE NEED TO PUT A WARNING ON THE LABEL THAT THIS SHAMPOO (TEA TREE OIL) IS VERY TOXIC TO CATS!!!!! You are responsible for the illness and deaths of many cats as you put on your label that this shampoo is safe for ALL animals!!! Tea tree oil is HIGHLY toxic to cats, even in small amounts!!!
My poor baby has extreme allergies causing breakouts and fur-loss all over his body, but luckily I found this shampoo to help. I love this shampoo so much that I am recommending it to anyone who will listen. I am even going back to the store to buy even more products from this company now that I found it!
My dog has a wicked flea allergy, when I first found him he was missing most of the hair on the back half of his body and it looked like a lot of his fur wouldn't grow back on his hips and the backs of his thighs. It took prescription steroid pills AND spray as well as twice weekly medicated baths to get the itching and inflammation under control. Once the inflammation went down I started using this shampoo before the medicated shampoo during the same bath then eventually completely replaced the medicated after talking to my vet. My dog has been doing so well on this! His coat looks great, he's grown all of his fur back save for two tiny calluses on either side of the base of his tail, and the smell of the shampoo is nice too. He doesn't smell like fruit salad like a lot of other shampoos do, or like detergent, and the scent isn't too strong, nor does it linger. Best of all I've gotten him down to maintenance baths once or twice a month (I have the luxury of bringing him to the kennel I work at so I could do it less frequently, but it's so easy for me to bathe him) in the hot humid climate of the Gulf Coast!
I read 40 reviews on another website regarding this product. I have a 97lb shephard/lab mix that is always scratching and chewing. Also his skin flakes where it gets so dry. All the reviews were 5 stars so I thought I would buy some and try it. It made a huge difference with him. Now I am looking to purchase the gallon size so that I will always have some since I have two large dogs that I will be bathing in this shampoo for now on. Love the product and will recommend it to everyone!!
I recently purchased this for my hound/pitt mix who has terrible food and grass allergies hoping it would soothe her skin and instead she broke out with hives and the worse skin irritation ever! I've had her on steroids and benedryl with nothing working to help soothe her! Maybe it's the tea tree oil? I believe in this companies products but this one is not for her.
